Ordered the grilled chicken pasta. The penne was very watered down, and the chicken was very salty. Not much flavor in the dish as a whole. The beer was also warm and flat. Not impressed. Would not recommend.

My boss bought every body a burger and fries. BEST burger I ever had....

This used to be a great place to eat. I called today to ask if the dining room was open, the woman who answered the phone said takeout only, and quickly hung up the phone. She didn't ask if I would like to order. RUDE!!!

The service was outstanding...friendly, courteous, and fast! I had the CHICKEN FRIED STEAK DINNER . It was a "HUGE" portion (Barely fit on the plate). Delicious....!!!

This place was filthy dirty... All the tables dirty, staff standing around talking, while place is a mess... I had Cajun Chicken basket my bill was 13.00 with tip... As I looked at my bank statement they charged me 43.00... I have called many times to speak with manager, she returned my phone call once and stated she would get back to me that was 2 weeks ago... I continue to call leave messages and NO CALL BACK!!! GUESS THEY NEED THE ADDITIONAL $30. DOLLARS MORE THAN I DO...

16 oz Ribey was kinda tough for $24.00 price and not enough seasoning on the stake but service was good

I used to go to smithhearts all the time years ago when we lived in Angleton and we loved it. Today we did not have the same experience. The waitress was friendly but the rest of the staff was not as friendly. The sweet tea was anything but sweet while the lemonade was just watered down Country Time. The chicken nuggets looked delicious and while they were crispy, they had no seasoning whatsoever. The meal seemed to take a long time even though there were not very many people at the restaurant. Altogether the meal was lackluster and we were not impressed.

Food is good. I just hate that they don't make people park if there food isn't ready or they ordered at the window. Meanwhile my food is ready and getting cold because the line is around the restaurant in drive thru and we can't go in and get it right now

Imagine the best cut of steak, perfectly seasoned...this is the exact opposite! The most tasteless piece of steak I've ever had. Baked potato was overcooked and a side salad that was literally half a cup of what looked like leftover scraps of romaine...never ever ever...ever ever ever eat their steak...

My po' boy came with 5-6 small shrimp. Also, I was offered ketchup, cocktail sauce or tarter sauce. Pretty sure that's against the law, only Louisiana style hot sauce allowed. It's all good tho, at least I paid a lot for it.

This is a perfect down home meal. Had the burger, husband had the fried shrimp blt and everything was great? Excellent find!

I ate at this establishment recently and it was phenomenal! My server Randi was a absolutely perfect server/host. She was very informative, very polite and respectful and got us our food and drinks ridiculously fast! If you go there you have to ask for Randi!

I showed up with my family to enjoy dinner for my Mom's Birthday with a party of 7. When we walked in the door, we weren't greeted and were ignored by the front hostess young man and waitress. After standing there for awhile, we seated ourselves. We were not given any menu's, drink orders or silverware for over 10 minutes. Our waiter (who was a young man) was helping a nearby table went out of his way to avoid interacting with us so we decided to leave. We did end up going to La Casona, a nearby Mexican restaurant which the service and food were outstanding. I do NOT recommend Smithhart’s Restaurant but I do STRONGLY recommend La Casona.

It was awful, my side salad was terrible, I didn't even receive my dressing...they sent one portion of ranch that spilt all over the food. Calamari and shrimp weren't done....

Wanted to try this place since its a small business. Ordered to go the chicken fried steak which was rubber and didnt come with gravy. Got the appetizer of fried crawfish. Everything was soggy and just hastily put together.

This place is great! Fried pickles were crisp and some of the best that Ive had! I ate the King Ranch Chicken and it was seasoned to perfection. Environment was calm and relaxing. Nicely decorated and very clean.

Good burger, slightly over-cooked but good flavor and quality. Service was prompt.

Chicken fried steak sandwich was a bit tough. The "breading" came right off. The $3 "seasoned" fries were barely seasoned and tastes like cardboard. I used to frequent this restaurant 15 years ago and it was good back then but not now.

First and last time trying for me. Wait staff seemed friendly enough, so that was a plus for them. But the Gater bites were bland and rubbery. The cheese burger was good but lacked any kind of seasoning, it wasn't a 10 dollar burger. The fries seemed old because they were not even warm and they were soggy. It was pretty irritating to pay $40 for 2 cheeseburgers and an order of gator bites. This place is way over priced and the food lacks flavor. To end on a positive note though, you do get a good portion of food on your plate.

Waitress was Awesome (Regan) did a great job . My Dad and I met my Brother, my Son ,Daughter in law and grandson . Gathered at your restaurant for dinner, Regan went out of way to take care of . And also took pictures for us. My Dad and I traveled 400 plus miles . And were greeted with great service a d hospitality!!! Thank so much.

Typical takeout experience. Good, not great. Looking forward to sitting in a restaurant and ordering.

One star for 1st couple of years since we moved here. To explain, the wait staff were ALL kids that didn't give 2 sheets about customers and the food was chewy ( CFS, sea food, steak) and cold ( fries, burgers, chicken sandwiches etc) when you got it. Order was never right, EVER!!!!!. We are now at a 4 star because the staff has changed, older more defined and trained, the food is quite a bit better!! The staff seem to be a little more in tune as to what the hell their job is and how to do it!!!

Consistently good comfort food, the service is decent considering I'm usually here with a group of 6+ people. Enjoy coming here when I'm visiting.

The service was great and food was good but could use more seasoning. I had fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. I added a little salt and pepper and was good! Atmosphere is nice.

Good service this time. Waiter Stephen was the best! Food was good too. Not to busy tonight.

I visited during lunchtime , it wasn't busy. The wait was a bit longer than expected but the staff was kind. The stuffed shrimp is delicious!

The chicken fried steak was the size of a hockey puck with batter all over to make it look big, it was dry and over cooked. The mashed potatoes were dry and inedible. I had ordered to go and I waited over 30 minutes and I think the food had just been sitting back there packaged because it was cold. I just threw the whole meal away. A waste of money and time. The first time I've ever been disappointed in smithhearts as I've been eating there since I was a little girl.

Great service, food was decent. I got the chopped steak with mashed taters and green beans. Steak and potatoes were good, green beans were canned. Wife had the turkey salad sandwich. She didn't care for it . It was sweet with nuts and she wasn't expecting that. Also had dessert the turtle cheesecake and it also tasted like something out of a box or premade. Overall very good service, clean restaurant just some of the food was meh.

Mediocre at best. We came at 12:30 on a Saturday and there were probably seven tables. The food came out bland as usual. The tortilla soup had no seasoning. The "cajun" chicken was bland and had no seasoning. Just chicken and flour. The "cajun sauce" is a lie--it's nothing but buffalo sauce. The burger was, you guessed it, tasteless and lacked any seasoning. The crawfish in the poboy was also bland and lacked any seasoning. Not even Tony's. There was a LOT of crawfish though. Their portions are good for the price but the kitchen needs some salt and pepper!

Expensive and food is ok. Nothing great. Was probably best resturant in town 10yr ago. But not sure anything has changed since2nd trip was better.. 1st trip was valentine's dinner. This trip was late lunch on a Saturday. Bacon blue burger and pasta was much better than 1st trip. Have gone back a few times and it's better. Every restaurant has a bad day... I'm guessing 1st trip was bad dayAnother trip... back to disappointed. Service was SLOW... took... 30-45 min for a burger and pasta. Burger was well done and raw all in one burger. Fries were not seasoned at all. Ordered sweet tea... for some reason they don't like ice... refilled my tea and melted my ice.

Great service. I didnt care too much for the iceberg lettuce house salad. Wish it was romaine lettuce. The rest of our meal was great. We had the fried oysters dinner with fries and the chopped steak w/ mushrooms and a baked potato, they were very good!

Excellent food and service. Specials are always a great bargain for a lot of food.

Great service. Ordered Fried Pork Chop. It's 2 huge pork chops that are incredibly good. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Everything was great! We pick up and dine in regularly. The only thing was my alfredo sauce was broken so it was just a big oily mess. Other than that staff and food were great!
